We talk alot about polishing here, but I was wondering in general, how often do you polish your car? I'm always scared of taking off too much clear, and making my paint look blah. But I have seen research that suggests that in fact we take off very little clear with a PC. So far, I only polish once a year, in the spring. As fall comes, I hate to polish cause winter is right around the corner, and I don't clean my car as often in the winter unfortunately.
All I usually do for the winter is more of a seal job than removing any swirls, cause I know my car will be dirty over the winter anyway. But now I'm at a crossroads, as I do have minor swirls that I can take out now, as I did swirl removal in like late February, early March. I could get them out for the rest of the year, but I really don't know what to do.
I use DACP and SFP, I have though about just hitting it with SFP to get a few of them out, or I could go with DACP and try to get them all out. Or I could just leave them alone and be my naturally lazy self, lol, I mean they are only bad in an autopian sense. It has been 4 months since my last polish, and have 4-5 months left of good weather. What would you do or what do you do??
