How often am I supposed to be spraying water?

I've been doing my first couple panels with a PC and I thought you only spray water on the pad, and if it completely dries out. But the Menz Micro Polish says to spray the panel of the product on it dries. Now this happens in only about 3 passes, but the pad still has liquid polish on it (a film). But I did notice that after I began misting the panel when it felt dry, I got better results.

So just to clarify, how often should I, or do you, mist water per section, and when? I'm confused.

Because I could be misting every couple passes the way it dries so fast.

Well I just finished the hood with the Micro Polish and a LC green pad and got about half of the spider webbing, and brought out a decent shine by spraying water every time the hood felt dry - which was like every two passes. I just don't recall seeing this in any of the how to video's. On the other panels I was running the PC on 6 to start and then 5 to finish. Maybe this was drying it out so fast? The hood I did at 5 and then 4.5. Still it dried pretty fast, but the pad was always moist so I don't know.

The water rings and most scratches are gone but I cant honestly say it looks shinier than it did before, on this two year old non garaged car. I kept it heavily Klasse SG'd though.

I was kinda curious about this as well. I was using Megs 105 and it seems like after about 2 passes, the polish is dry and starting to create a lot of dust. May try that water trick.
