How many WW towels does thye average person go through when drying an average vehicle. I only have one Megs water magnet, and I feel like I need to be getting some mroe ww's. I think the more they load up, the more they can leave water behind on your paint. Any experiences? TIA :bigups

i use to use ww's, but found that the microfiber drying towels to be gentler. one extra large microfiber drying towel does it for me!

Two Excel Monterey WWs for me. One gets the job done, but I walk around with a 2nd one to pick up any streaks or leftover beads.

Sorry to highjack your thread but...

What method do you use with your WW. Do you lay it flat and drag it across the flat surfaces? Or do you fold and wipe?

I do both, especially on the hood.

I use two. One to get the majority of the water off. Then, I get the dry one and blot off the drops that are left.

That's what i do too.

Oh yeah, IDK if you're already doing this but make sure to sheet the rinse water off your car before you start drying...take the nozzle off the hose and watch as water just sheets right off the vehicle.

I use two. One makes the 1st pass and gets most of the water off and the second gets whatever the 1st left behind. Here lately I've been only using one large WW and have gotten the job done just as well

I have one WW and it's good for one car and half a Miata. :D I think I need one more to make it through both the GS and the Miata.

Man I need a third job just to support this addiction! OCD has got to be one of the most expensive diseases! LOL :D

It really depends on which car I am doing at the time, if I am doing mine, I usually just fold it up and blot the suface, I would never drag it. :scared
