right now im just start my business an im running it out off my car. so im looking for a small gen. i just need to power a vac 6 amp and polisher 9.6 amp. also what do you guys think about the waterless car wash stuff. im using 3D 's waterless wash(the old product, not the new product). who do you thinks makes the best stuff?

QEW and ONR are both good.

Unless you plan on getting a carpet extractor something in the 3k watt range should be plenty.

How much power to extractors such as the Mytee II's pull? With a vacuum, a heater, and a pump all working at the same time in some instances, I would guess a pretty large amount.

I notice a drop in power when I have a PC and a mytee lite II running on the same circuit...so yeah, its a good size draw on a 110

Concerning a generator, it depends on what you want to run as some have suggested. On the waterless wash products. Well, there are quite a few now. ONR is not waterless! You mix it with water, wash the vehicle a section at a time and dry it! Never used the QEW.

If you really mean Waterless theirs Dri Wash n Guard, No Wet,and a slew of other products. If I may suggest, think about the complete picture of what and how you want to run your business. I truely don't believe that guys are totally waterless. They say so,but using ONR is not waterless. I'm sort of a cross between the two styles. I do both, depending on the conditions. Place, amount of mud or dirt on the vehicle, restrictions, etc. I try not to limit my business. Yesterday I detailed a Harley with alot of chrome with Dri Wash n Guard. Came out Beatiful. PM ,I will discuss the positives and negatives with you.
