How many use wax/sealant on windows?

Will Sealant or RainX help keep mud from sticking? Hasn't been an issue until winter came and we get sling and slush.

It won't keep mud from sticking, but it will make it easier to clean. Another plus for RainX that I have found is that my windows are the last ones in the parking lot to freeze over. I ran a test one year where I rainXed half my back windshield and left the other side without any. You could tell from a great distance that something was up when half the window would be frosty and the other half was obviously not near as frosted over. You can tell the difference when you are scraping the windows too. With RainX I found it much easier to scrape the ice off. That may be what you experience with any glass treatment, but I was using RainX specifically when I noticed the difference so I can't speak for the other options.

I used rain x add in to my windshield solvent reservoir the other day and it has had a significant difference in my visability.

This past weekend I used AIO on all my windows and did not like the results. We've had a fair amount of rain and it did not repeal off the glass as well as when I had PB Pro Polish.

You are correct! AIO will clean and polish your glass, it will not repel/bead water off... I like to use AIO as it brings out the deapth in my glass and the tint behind it! Makes a nice reflection!

As for beading water, RainX is the way to go! I would apply the stuff manually instead of buying the washer. I wouldn't want the washer over my detailed car!

When I use the PC with Wolfgang sealant I do everything including all windows and windshield.. A MF pad on the PC removes it and the windows gleam like the finish on the car. No problems to date and the windows stay clean longer.

Bigs, I understand your point in regards to the overspray,imo your already getting overspray with the solvent you use in your reservoir. you only add 4 ozs of rain x per one gallon of windshield solvent. I used a little less and still reaped the benefits of a nice clean/clear view.
