How many people run their PC @ 6?

I did speed 6 with no problems. At one spot it got hot, but I think I was using some pretty good pressure on one panel at the time. I don't even get much vibration. Mine is a joy to use at 6.

I never run less than 6, unless I am working on really soft paint and need to run lower to finish clean; or applying sealants. If it had a 10, I'd use it.

I use 6 as well. Run it all day w/ out any problems. Does get warm, and it does vibrate quite a bit but not to the point where it can't be controlled.

I have a 5" LC backing plate and it feels alright after running it on speed 6. The machine on the other hand starts to feel quite warm after extended use. I think I need to order a 6" backing plate.

I use 6 all the time when I'm polishing. The pad and backing plate get toasty after about half the car, but not so hot you can't hold your hand on it. 6 definately vibrates more than 5, but I've noticed that when it does vibrates really bad it's because the pad isn't perfectly centered on the backing plate. When it's centered I can easily hold the PC with 2 fingers on the back near the speed selector and control it if I so desire, I don't recommend it, but the vibrations arent so excessive that you can't do it.
