How many pads do you use when correcting with M105?

I'll keep the 425 idea in mind. Thanks, Bee.

Same here...I think that'll be my next "big" purchase...well, after my Makita of course.

The first time I used 105 with PFW, I didn't pre-spray the PFW with 425, and spurring after each application didn't help. I used a ton of pads. The next time, I pre-sprayed with 425, and got better results spurring the pad.

Man, I want one of those pad washers so bad...

I use one wool pad with M105, I also do not understand all the pads being used.

Some of us have had some problems with 105 gumming pads up thoroughly, quickly, and not coming clean with a pad spur. Glad to hear you're not having that problem. :2thumbs:

Speaking of LC foamed wool pads - Top of the Line had the BEST price I could find on them, check it out.

Careful...they are not the same as the ones sold at AG. I bought some when I saw the price but was disappointed when I saw that they are only about 1/2 to 2/3 the thickness of the PFW pads sold at AG. They are a little too thin to be comfortable with panels that have alot of curves. If I use them it is only on the flat panels. I did not get a centering post either, but I already had 3 from the AG purchases.

Are you guys with the pad washing systems cleaning the pads and then go right back to using them still damp after a spin dry? Or are you letting them dry thoroughly first?

Thanks Superbee, just wondering if you finally got a handle on it. It is a night and day difference from using Menzerna, just takes a little getting used to and once you do you will be rewarded with some very nice results. Glad to see you over at DB also.
