How many Microfibers to you have?

Work towels, finishing towels, glass towels, grunge towels..... Over the years I've collected hundreds!!!

Demoted Grunge Towels.. dedicated to engine bay and door jambs: 50

General Purpose Work Towels... interior work, exterior plastics, cladding, wheels etc.: 150

Wax/Sealant Removal Towels... quite a bit softer than work towels, but have the bite to pick up the dried sealant: 100

Super Soft "Fluffer" detailer towels... I use for applying detail spray, Z6/Z8, etc....30

Guesses of course on the numbers... ;)

What about you? How many towels do you keep lying around?:D
 
Grunge work towels, tires wheelwells, engines etc- 25

General work towels ( Costco Microfiber)- 75

Wax Removal Towels- 25

Spray Detailer Towels- 15

Waffle Weave Drying Towel's.....Around 10 of these Towels.

As a hobbyist who works almost solely on his own cars, I have too many MFs. Of course that didn't stop me from buying 16 more (8 polishing and 8 QD) last week, and expecting another 10 to arrive next Friday. Don't even ask about pads.

I know one guy in particular, who is very anal about his C6 Corvette, but he only has about 10 Microfibers... and they are those cheapies from Wal-Mart!!! (But I'm not complaining, because I polish his car often!!!!:wink::wink::wink:)

LOL! Good answer! Guessing I have a couple of dozen & half are w/w or high grade and the rest are from Sams club (which are surprisingly good product).

I figured for 24 ct. @ $9.99 they would be the thin rags a'la the Zone but they are quite thick and as a bonus - NO tags.

Maybe these are the same as Costco? I dont have any Costco MF to compare.

Costco microfibers come in a 36 pack (I think) and are reasonably priced around $17. They are thick and pretty soft... a good value for the money.

Not for paint, but for general detailing work they are very nice to have around, especially if you use a lot of towels.

Available at Costco.:D

I was only joking with Adam, I have tried them and I personally only use good towels even for grunge work, just the way I am.

Ooooops! I'm a little slow sometimes! Didn't see your :D:D:D!

I do use the Costco towels, but only for grunge work... wheels, tires, door jambs, engines. Cheap and good quality. (But definitely NOT for paint!:scared:)
