How long to wait before clear-bra?

My 65 shelby cobra is getting painted shortly. I need to clear-bra the bottom portion of the rear fender wheels (they get beat to HELL very quickly).



The only problem is I don't know how long to wait? I don't want to wait too long, because that area gets hammered very quickly :think:



I suppose I could cover it with painter's tape and hope for the best and just minimize driving it? :think:
 
You can install a clear bra immediately after painting if you use Venture Shield. I don't know about the 3M, but Venture Shield breathes. I don't know where you're located, but we did a clear mask on a A/C Cobra about a year ago.
