How long have you spent trying to perfect 1 Panel?

Yesterday I spent probably about 2 hrs on the Trunk of my mustang trying to get it perfect! and I think I could have spent longer! and that was with using my PC. I removed the rear wing, It just wouldn't come to the point where I am happy with.

I hear ya on this one. I have been working on my tailgate off and on for about a week or so now thanks to an unfortunate lawn chair accident. No bad or deep scrathces, just some visible marring that only I can see obviously. It's currently at the shop on my workbench. Is it bad when you start removing things to polish???? :lol Haha!!

spent 1:45 minutes trying to get a damn fuel door to look decent. it was one of those older ones that u needed a key to open and it just had key scratches all over it.

as for a panel. i think i spent the most 2 hours but that was on a severely neglected finish.
