How long can i leave on wax?

Is this the right process i should take?

1. Claybar

2. Paint Cleaner

3. sealant/glaze

4. wax (wait 24 hours between layers)

Do i need to do anything else or can i do one right after the other??

amolai- The important wait period is between any sealant and any subsequent wax/more sealant. That's the time to wait ~24 hours.

I first wanna thank all of you Autopians for the great advice and tips. Last night i got time to clay the car and then do a quick detail and put a layer of Sealant/Glaze. Should i wait 24 hours and do another layer of sealant/glaze or go ahead and do a layer of wax?

Also my car looks so amazing after doing clay and glaze!!!!

THANK YOU AUTOPIA!

Really it's up to you. You have some great durability with the SG. I would wait at least a week or two and then put a layer of wax on top and see what that brings into the mix.

is it better to wait a week to do another layer? i thought 24-48 hours was enough.

24 is enough, but I like to take in what I just did. Then it gives me a better take on what the new product has to offer.

That sou ds like a good idea. im probably not gonna have time til tuesday night to do anything so ill see where it goes then, maybe ill do another layer of SG and then do a layer of wax.

would 2 layers of SG and 1-3 layers of wax be too much?

Not at all. Appreciate what you just put on, take it in.

Here's a slight variation on that theme that's worked well for me:

Do another layer of SG after 24 hours and then just drive it. After the next wash, do another layer of SG. Repeat until you just can't stand the suspense and *then* top with wax.

I always think I see an improvement in looks after the 3rd/4th coat of SG. And if nothing else it makes for great durability, you can just clay very gently (Sonus green) and keep refreshing your wax topper for a long, long time.
