How far does Optimum Polish and Compound go?

I'm looking to order some detail supplies for my normal spring ritual. This year, though, I'm going to be doing mine and the girlfriends cars, along with my moms, dads, dads girlfriend, girlfriends parents cars, and a few more.



So, I wanted to get some good product for my car, and I'm going to use some Megs on the other (I'm not sure if I'll do #9 and #2 or 80/83). I am thinking about picking up the Optimum Polish II and Compound II, and dont know if I should get the 8 oz or 16 oz bottles.



Other things that are on the list:

Various pads/applicators/brushes/etc

Dodo Juice Hard kit

They dont make a pt size, and the 4oz are being discontinued.8oz may be pushing it with your customer lineup. Your best off with the qt, and its very economical as well. A qt of each is plenty (and then some) for your 1/2 dozen or so cars.
 
The OHC wont cause terrible buffer trails on black?



Not that I've ever had the problem, because I work it right, but I'm a little unsure of where it fits (anyone know where it would fit int he Meg's chart?)
