akimel said:Does it REALLY matter how durable Fuzion is? Does it matter if you only get 6 weeks as opposed to 12 weeks?
I know it matters if one is thinking about a winter wax/sealanat, but spring is nearly upon us. Are you really thinking at this point, "How infrequently can I wax my car?"
Isn't looks what is most important to you?

But one does not lay down the big bucks for Fuzion for its durability, though it certainly enjoys a reputation for moderate durability. One buys Fuzion because one hopes that one's car will look special, gorgeous, brilliant, rich, stunning. Perhaps the hope is foolish--as all the pros here on Autopia constantly remind us, prep is 99% of appearance--but the hope remains nonetheless, and it is only this hope that justifies Fuzion's price.
And if, just if, the promise of Fuzion is actually fulfilled in reality, then does it really matter whether we have to to wax again after 8 weeks instead of 12? Would you not gladly trade less durability for stunning looks?
I admit, however, that at this point in my life I actually enjoy waxing my car. Even if Fuzion typically lasts for three months, I will still be waxing my car every four to six weeks, at least during the non-winter months. And I suspect this obtains for most people who read this forum. We love to wax our cars, and we love the way our cars look when dressed with a fresh coat of wax. Isn't that why we non-professionals read Autopia? :bigups
