Im really curious to know your collective opinion on the Sonus brand of detailing products. Forget interior and wheel cleaners im interested in seeing what you guys think of the quality of their exterior polishes and how they match up to other companies. Generally SFX 1,2,3, the swirlbuster polish, scratch removal polish, their clay bar+lube and enhacer spray. I know Sonus is a quality brand but how does it compare to the other high end companies like Zaino etc? I am still researhing products to begin my detailing and Sonus seems to make a complete line of exterior polishers and other things but I just dont know how good the quality and durability is in comparrison to other high end brands. Looking for some advice, thanks.

well I have had great success with the original 473ml Sonus SFX polishes and even better with the current formula ones, which have a longer working time

Just make sure you dont go beyond 1200 rpm with them

they will dry up real quick if you do that.

I like Sonus stuff.

I've used swirlbuster polish, paintwork cleaner, their gloss shampoo and sonus pads.. no problem at all.

Sonus doesn't have any sealers or waxes so there is no durability in them at all.

I've never used Zaino but gotten longer lasting results from non autopian sealers before.

I like their mild green clay and lube. It's great stuff and i recommend it. Their gray clay is very aggressive in comparison. I've never tried their polishes but in my opinion their car wash is crap. I used to like it until i tried dg 901.

i've used alot of their products. the green clay is really nice (very gentle to the paint) while the gray one is indeed more abrasive but sometimes you need a little more when a car hasn't been clayed ever.

i have tried their sfx 2 combined with their sfx 2 foam pad and it works great. the break down time was kinda short (I was using a udm at speed 5) when compared to xmt videos on autogeek. But i like it nonetheless.
