how do i get this stuff off help!!!!!!

i have a 97 VW golf, and its black. it needs a new paint job, but right now i dont have the cash to get it done. it has swirls and scratches.



my moldings side moldings fell off, so i used polyuratane glue in the silicone tube to put it back on. it was a pretty messy job, and some glue got stuck on the door panels. so when i wash my car now, i can see like gluw spots all over, and it looks really bad when in direct sunlight.



my question is how do i get this stuff off from the paint ??? please help, it looks really bad.



also other than than the mothers s step system, what steps and brands can i use to really get some life out of this vdub

You may want to consider using one of the Goof Off products. They are usually available at most home supply stores. Here's a link:
