How do i fix these chips?

update: fixing the chips seems like too much work for me, maybe i'll save it for sometime this summer. but for now i want my paint to look as good as possible, i plan on getting the klasse car detailing kit that comes with the all in one and the sealant glaze. it should be safe on the chips and seal it from any further damage temporarily, right?

Let me start off by saying, I am a complete detailing noob, so if you guys can give me the procedure, please be specific and give every single step. all this is on kandy apple red, and i have touch-up paint on the way. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

#1: this one is my passenger door, its a small chip and a small area around the chip it cracking. I was wondering if i should just fill the spots showing primer and let the crack area be since it would be a lot bigger if i were to take off the loose paint.

#2: this one is on my passenger door handle, this looks like it'll be a lot harder. I'm hoping you guys can point me in the right direction.

please help me, as you can see i'm having some major swirl marks on the paint too. i don't even know where to start.

Here's a start:

But I think that your chips are beyond this process. You will have to remove all of the loose paint, sand the bare metal, prime the area you have sanded and them paint it. I've made such repairs -- both with a brush and with an aerosal can. Sometimes it has worked, sometimes it has not. Red, especially candy apple red, is not easy to match.

The swirls and marring are another story. It appears that you have not done this before, I suggest that you browse this forum for some ideas. I assume you will be doing it by hand. You are in for a bunch of work.

A start on this:

Good luck.
