How do I apply trim dye evenly?

I ordered the "touch up kit" from www.gatorbackcoatings.com as Avalanche people have good experiences with it. I don't really have the money for a spray gun so I tried applying it with the foam brush. It turned out very streaky and the areas that it overlapped are obvious. I'm looking for some tips/tricks to get this as good as possible before I go and do the other mouldings...

another products you could try is the meguiars trim detailer in an aerosol can....i really like its working ability and the way it holds to the trim unlike other products that run...I have no input on the other stuff....maybe try a lot of rubbing around to make it all even???

His product is a dye, not a dressing.

Try multiple thin coats...

If its not too thick.. Maybe a Preval Sprayer? I am not familiar with the product.. Dont know if it can be thinned..

Good luck

Yeah, I tried the Griots stuff and it ends up looking worse because you can't get it to coat evenly. The best thing for me was to just use a dressing and it looks 100% better, as long as the trim isn't too bad.
