How daft am I? Switching new Lexus for Old Jag

It's been maintained at the local Jag dealership where it was bought since new. Looks like I'm the third owner and the first that hasn't bought from them and traded it on another Jag. I took that to be a good sign regarding the mechanicals. There were two small issues that are being repaired (e-brake sensor and air control switch) before I take delivery tomorrow. I'll take pics of the Camry tomorrow when I get it



I'll see how much correction it needs but probably get a base layer of sealant and do the correction in a while after mechanicals are all well sorted.



What sort of oil are you using in your's Accumulator?

I'll post a new thread when I pick it up to chronicle what I do to it. However, one last question on this thread: Thinking about getting some carnuba to top of the sealant (probably optiseal). Just seems appropriate for this car to me. Thinking about the Dodo Juice stuff - maybe the one designed for white.

OK, cool...I'm starting to calm down a bit regarding its reliability

That sounds like a good plan.

What sort of oil are you using in your's Accumulator?

Get this: *I DON'T KNOW!* Seriously! Or more like "I forget" It's been mothballed at my mechanics shop for the last few years and was used so sparingly before that that I haven't added any oil to it since forever. But remember, I have the V12, so what I use in mine might not be the best choice for yours.



Next time I talk with hmy mechanic (he wasn't in this morning) I'll ask him what he'd recommend for your 4L and about anything "weird" he'd suggest you watch out for; there can be odd things that most places (even dealerships) miss until they've become costly.
