How can NITRO SEAL look any better than HD POXY?

Paul, please post your findings here once you try NS.

Still haven't washed the car, but Portland did get a few days of rain.

Looks similar to the result on my Miata - very small droplets that don't have any real tendency to coalesce... just slid off with any significant driving speed. Was going to top with Proxy this weekend, but maybe I'll leave it alone for a while....

Did you NS too? If, yes, don't top with POXY. Why would you?

Yes, I did NS... I was going to proxy it for yet another sacrificial layer. I love the way it looks now - will proxy ruin that?

Jeff

Well, I certainly don't want to go backwards Paul. Have you tried it? Others here have mentioned using Proxy over the top of NS to further add to durability every N number of months or so. I'd like to hear from others who have had NS for a while and perhaps topped with Proxy or 3D themselves as to this practice. Perhaps not enough experience? Dunno. I guess I'll hold off for now... no burning desire only have soem time to do it, and wnat to make sure that I am doing what I need to do before it gets cold aorund here.

Jeff

I haven't tried it yet...I have some on the way and a client lined up.

I was basing my statement on Thomas' statement that NS' gloss "was off the scale" compared to anything else, including POXY. He would know.

Gottcha. Thanks. Yes... it is an awesome product. Just put it on over the weekend, and it was a breeze to apply and "buff"... not really any effort to it. Looks are truly outstanding!

Very interesting thread. My car is similar color, and I feel gloss is important too. Maybe doing this annually or twice a year would be a better answer.

Wow that looked good, I was given some poxy by someone who does not use it as their go to LSP but haven't tried it yet. I'm sure it's going to be good given all the praises it gets on this site.

I wasn't hinting at anything. You will be very happy with either choice. NS may give you that WOW!!!! result. OC lasts longer. You pick.
