I got the wife some chocolate brownie truffles, flowers and a card.

Since its a work evening, I'm making chicken cordon bleu,with almond rice, asparagus and hollandise sauce.

I also selected two sonoma county wines a Chardonnay and Pino

I sent flowers (calla lilies, her fave), bought a white saphire pendant for her, going to dinner tonight.

Its a bitter sweet night for restaurants. They are busy but its all couples that linger longer than normal. Its what I learned while working in the food industry.

Bought myself another Griots 6" da (used 70 dollars shipped} and a box of unigrit finishing disc from Porscheguy and 2 gamma lids from HD plus a couple of bottles of Captin Morgan. (wife is away in Fl).Treating myself to dinner and desert at the CheeseCake Factory tonight. If you hurry DC, the drinks are on me !
