Wow! You're right! That is that picture! LOL

Hey... If someone forwards me a pic and it looks good, I use it. Nothing I can do.

But I will tell you that this pic will be taken down from my website now that I know where it came from... Thanks!

:hm Sure, Sure and he made up the details too

Thanks for letting me know about that picture we had posted on our website. I did a little research and it looks like it was forwarded to me by someone from GA. I have deleted it from my site since it was surely not a legitimate testimonial photo and posted a new pic I know that was taken by a true testimonial.

I met Bianca on Twitter about a year ago and she, well... does what she does. I can, however, tell you honestly that she has no official affiliation with my organization. We don't even have a 'Lead Spokesperson' company position. That's an un-official title she appointed to herself.

Anything else?

I spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps so if there's one thing I learned during that time is Integrity.

I bring a high level of Character and Professionalism to all of my business dealings and relationships and appreciate you bringing these minute issues to the forefront.

You obviously have forgoten what you learned about integrity. Placing false testimonials on your website are not minute details. Don't drag the Marines down with you.

Below is Bianca's twitter pages, its amazing she did all this "free" advertising for you, using someone else's pictures.

Every testimonial that is placed on my website came to me in the form of an E-mail. If someone sends me an E-mail I can only take their word for it that it's true. As busy as I am it's impossible to screen every word that comes to us in the form of correspondence.

Wow! You're all over us. I love it!!!

Hey, pal... I don't know Bianca personally. We've spoken on the phone, E-mails, Twitter, Facebook, etc... She want's to work with us promoting our products but like I said before, I just don't have the need for her services at this time. Maybe, as our organization grows and we increase our travel time we can take her on as a model and some kind of spokes person...

Hey guys, lets stop the bickering and talk about the products. I'm really interested in this beast:

Car Wax, Hot Body Wax, Car Waxing & Auto Detailing Products: BW-C Orbital Buffer / Polisher

LOL That's a GEM Orbital buffer. I thought it would be an added benefit to my customers if I offered it to them. My family has been using these buffers from GEM since 1970 and I highly recommend them. I could give you a direct number to my contact over there if you're interested. Save a few bucks by buying directly from them.

It's a little heavy for those who aren't used to working with them but once you get the hang of it it's a really nice machine.

For the guys who have a shop this machine can literally give you twenty years of use.

I want to set the record straight about something. I was the one who brought up the "tact & integrity" comment. That remark has nothing to do with your service in the Marines, the Corps itself or anything else other than the topic this thread is about so it shouldn't be construed as such.

Having said that, when you post an article on a forum, blog ,etc., it should be evident that your name is going to be associated with it. If you don't specify that it was written by someone else, folks are obviously going to assume you wrote it yourself. A simple acknowledgment and/or link to the source would have been more appropriate as Mike explained. Considering what has been brought to light in this thread, I believe its understandable how honesty, discretion and intention might questioned by some.

Fair enough... You're absolutely correct.

I'm not too sure if you're serious but their 800# is 800-447-4GEM (4436). You could also do a Google search for GEM Buffers in Sunrise, FL for the same information.

Let me know if they give you a hard time about not being a distributor of their products and If they do and you honestly want one, I can order it for you from my account without charging extra. ; )

....yeah, he's being sarcastic. Most of us who have used/tried models like that in the past know that they simply don’t compare to the effectiveness of DA’s we have available these days (Porter Cable, Flex, Griots, etc., etc.).

Yeah I think I'll dump my PC for that sucker!!! 11inch pads, 1650 rpm on an orbital buffer, should work like a GEM for paint defect correction.

You wouldn't use this machine for paint correction. It's an orbital. It works like a circular hand motion. This machine has a very specific usage. It's used for the application and removal of a protectant. Although, we do use it when using polishes.

Cleaner waxes, polishes, and rubbing compounds are activated by friction. This machine generates just enough friction to activate cleaner waxes and polishes. You would need a variable control high-speed machine 1000 - 3000rpm with a foam or wool pad - depending on how much heat is needed to attain your desired result.

The GEM doesn't create too much heat to 'Warp' the finish. Anyway...

Oh... LOL

It's actually been about six years since I've picked up a buffer, professionally, so I'm not up to date on all the current machines out there. After closing my shop to pursue the product line I kinda gave it up. I miss it, though...

There's a shop in my town and I always tell the owner that if he wasn't in business I would open a shop here.
