Hot Body Wax?

Got the same, she also befriended me on here as well. I also have seen quite a bit of Hot Body Wax info on Facebook as well....Never have used their products.

Damn, guess I'll have to run out an get some of this miracle in a bottle. Sure will miss my NuFinish though.............

What a load of horse squeeze! I looked at that cheesy web site just long enough for a laugh, yeah - sue Megs and TW, it's a shame the US doesn't have a loser-pays system, they'd own you in a week.

Smells like SPAM to me.

More then smells like spam. BiancaLeoni's pictures are of Katie Lohmann at a Katrina benefit car wash. I guess we can trust that all their before and after pics are real also

So, let me see if I can get this straight… Because, I posted an article here on Autopia I found interesting, informative, and written by somebody else… that makes me a plagiarist… Very interesting. I’ve been accused of a great many things in life but stealing somebody else written work is something I’ve never been guilty of.

My friend Jeff told me that I would enjoy joining the Autopia.org community and meeting fellow detailers and auto enthusiasts, but boy, I got to tell ya…

So far I’ve been accused of plagiarism, having a cheesy website, (I’m new at html) being a Spammer, having a lack of tact and integrity, (That one hurts having spent 8 years in the Marine Corps) and manufacturing a lousy car wax product… and I’ve only been here a week! LOL

I know us car nuts are a tough breed but, boy… you guys are a tough crowd.

My family has been in the car wash and detailing business since 1970. I owned a car wash in Winthrop, MA about six years ago. The garage we were using for detailing was only a two bay so in the summertime months when we were busy with customers, the majority of the cars had to be done outside in the sun.

It was very difficult for us to find a good quality cleaner/wax that we could use in the direct sunlight. You name the product and chances are we’ve used it. We were trying everything we could find but were having no luck with it in the sun.

So, what I did was I got in touch with a chemical engineer and told him about the problem I was having with using product in the direct sunlight. Basically, to make a long story short, I told him what I was looking for in the performance of a product and after seven and a half months of trial and error we came up with, what I call Hot Body Wax. It’s the first patented car wax that is designed so it can be used in direct sunlight. Well, the patent is still pending at this point but we’re confident that one will be awarded before the end of this year.

Anyway… That’s my story. I thought I would come here and try to make some new friends. Especially, ones who share the same enthusiasm on auto appearance and car care.

I would love to send you guys a bottle for you to try on your personal vehicles and, if you’re in business, on your customers cars. Forward your mailing address to my inbox and I’ll send one right out.

Nice to meet you folks ; )

You are a plagiarist when you pass off someone elses work as your own, which you did with Mike Phillips' article regarding uv protection in wax. It's also hard to take your company seriously when your "spokeperson" BiancaLeoni is using pictures of an actress, Katie Lohmann, as her own. I'll pass on putting any of your products on my cars, free or not. PS the poorboys product line works fine in the sun.

I remember that article and remember posting it here but I never stated that it was written by me. I do know that when you post a Blog here, Autopia.org will automatically state that the blog was originated by the Username... Anyway, I no longer feel the need to defend my position.

As far as my organization is concerned, Bianca is not officially working for us and I am unaware of any images she's posting on-line. I've never met her, personally, so I can't speak intelligently on her actions. She has expressed a great many interest in working with us but like I told her, we just don't have a need for her services at this time.

Six years ago when I had the detailing shop I had never heard of Poor Boys but now that we're creating this line of eco-friendly products I see their advertisements often and meet their distributors when we're on the road. I'm kinda glad that I didn't know about them back then... I wouldn't be where I am today; having a high level of success with my new product line.

If you change you mind about trying some product please don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks

Here's another good one:

Mysteriously, "Tim Johansen's" picture was taken years ago by Mike Phillips of Meguiarsonline.

Wow! You're right! That is that picture! LOL

Hey... If someone forwards me a pic and it looks good, I use it. Nothing I can do.

But I will tell you that this pic will be taken down from my website now that I know where it came from... Thanks!

:funnypost Right, sure, whatever you say :goodjob 'Only after I called you out on it, does her facebook profile mysteriously disappears and eventhough she's been friending people here including yourself and holding herself out as your "lead spokeperson" she didn't work for you. :bestwish
