Hooking up Filter for pressure washer? Plumbing question...

I have a leak in the Big Blue filter on the OUT side...but as I relook at this, I think I've massively overcomplicated this (including putting tape on GHT...)

The 3/4 adapter seems to be bottomed out anyway so I assume its not making a good seal?

Can someone look at this and tell me how I really should have this plumbed up?

Thanks!

You didn't say where the leak is, I presume it's at the pipe thread. Presuming those are pipe adapters, it looks like you have the wrong size on the pipe end, 1/2" and 3/4" have the same number of threads-per-inch, so if the filter is 3/4 and the fittings are 1/2, they I guess will screw in, but not seal.

I'm also not sure why you have so many adapters in there, I can't tell if you need a male GH connection on one end or both, but you can use this fitting on the outlet:

Doesn't your supply hose coming from the wall have a male end on it? If so, why do you have that female-to-male adapter in there? Or does the hose not reach? I think I see your problem, I don't see any female swivel GH fittings that have 3/4 MPT on the other end, so you must have gotten 1/2". I would use the same fitting I linked above on the inlet and use a female-to-female swivel to connect the inlet hose to that, it looks like you have one on the floor, anyway.

EDIT: Fixed Link

I agree I have way too many fittings/adapters!
The filter housing thread is where it’s leaking.

The filter housing is female 3/4 NPT. So I need to convert to 3/4 GHT.
