Honda Accord VTEC - Engine Detail

The customer wanted his engine cleaned and detailed before he sold the car.

PROCESS:

Saturated engine bay with Gunk Engine Cleaner
Scrubbed engine bay with a bucket of soapy water (dish washing soap) and a long handle brush
Rinsed with a stream of water - no pressure
Dried with an old towel
Sprayed entire engine bay with Tire Foam (ran out of TrimShine)
Wiped with towel
Done.

A lot of people think Tire Foam will make the engine bay greasy... not true. Oil based tire dressings will, but not ArmorAll Tire Foam

20 minutes, 60 dollars.

I've learned to work fast. Then my wife comes out, does her inspection and points out the spots I missed.
