Honda Accord- Soft Honda paint vs. M205

Detailed this Honda Accord some time ago and managed to have another go at the very soft Honda paint. This time I was armed with the latest and greatest finishing polish from Meguiar's, M205.

Got the halogen out for some shots. Note the faint hollowgraming visible on the hood from before.

After M205/W9006/Rotary. Swirls removed but still lacking some definition. Even with M205 this Honda paint is still too soft to be finished perfectly with a rotary.

Followed the M205 with NXT Tech Wax 2.0 applied with W9006/ROB. Much better...

Black paint reflects very nicely but it can be a challenge to maintain especially if its as soft as this Honda's paint.

This time it was called into service again not as a wedding car but as a 'support' vehicle.



I had thought the owner how to properly wash the car and the results still looked pretty good after 2 months.

It just proves that even with very soft paint, a properly detailed and cared for vehicle can still remain swirl free (relatively) even after 2 months on the road.
