Looks like the before pic rims and after pic rims are different
hmmm
Probably changed them for the winter. Alot of people do that. Go back to the stock rims for the bad weather.

The license plate, fenders and body kit are all the same, so you can bet it is probably the same car.

That car looks like it spun into a telephone pole or something. I had a roomate once who wrecked his car that way. They had to bend it out to get it off the pole. I'm just amazed that a passenger even survived that car.... Amazing. Maybe this tells you why the insurance on your new car is less than on an Integra, eh cookie boy? :D

re you guys not reading the post on top of the pics where it tells you exactly what happened?

Here is what he posted about what happened:

someone said to be more carful. well **** you. Heres the story. My Friend and I work late Hours (5pm to 130am, only 3 days a week). We left work at about 130am and were heading home down N Columbia Blvd (this road is along some train tracks in an industrial area and they have been repaving portions of it for a while now, pretty straight, 2 lanes going in both directions and the speed limit is 45mph) when about 6 to 7 miles down the road my friend and I looked at each other at the exact same time and said "did you forget to clock out". We had both forgot. The week before we got in trouble by my dad for forgetting to clock out. SO any way I flipped a bitch in the golf course parking lot on Columbia and we started heading back (If anyone in Oregon remembers last Tues Night/Wed Morning it was foggy in some areas) when a white camaro started to try and get me to race about a mile from the golf course. My friend and I said **** that, bc it was late and we just wanted to get back, clock out and go home. Well the camaro wasn't havin it so he kept trying. So I dropped gears from 5th to 4th (my car gets really really loud when i do that) and of course the camaro takes off down the street. Good, now i don't have to deal with him next to me I was thinkin. Nope he pulled over and must have waited for me bc we caught him (keep im mind the whole ride leaving work and heading back to clock out i was only going 48mph to 53mph down the road). He started in again trying to get me to race when the visibility went from clear to the thickest fog ive seen in my life as soon as we crossed under a bridge (E side of the bridge clear,W side of bridge foggy). About 4 city blocks from crossing under the bridge is when i lost control. We slid across all 4 lanes, spun backwards, hit the curb on the passanger side going backwards (shattered all windows, then spun around and cut a tree in half with the drivers rear 1/4 panel, spun the other way and wrapped the car around the light post on the passenger side. The last thing I remember is losing control and waking up in the ER by the way. The passanger and myself wern't wearing our seatbelts which saved our lives. His seat was reclined all the way back. When we hit the curb after sliding and then hitting the tree the air bags deployed throwing him into the back seats and hatch area. Thats how he came out like he did.

We didn't find out until later that it was freezing fog, black ice, and uneven pavement that made the car bounce up just enough to make me lose complete control of my car.

Will have more dtailed info when i remember it or find out more. My friend said that the white camaro didn't stop. He was conscious the whole time but he said he thought i was dead bc I was gurgeling up blood. He has no permanent injuries by the way, unlike me. Doctors are saying i will walk with a cane for a long time or rest of my life. Sucks but ill take it considering.

Wow...that's hard to read Sometimes I wonder if the internet has bad poor typing and grammar acceptable.

This is going to sound a little judgmental. I did some stupid stuff as a kid. I have hit railroad crossings at a good speed to try and "jump" my car. A solid hit against my t-tops convinced me that it wasn't a good idea to do again.

From what I could understand (by the way, is "flipping a bitch" a new term for u-turn? How did that evolve? Anyways, I can gather some information.

The weather was foggy. This was mentioned before the u-turn, so I have to assume the kid knew it was foggy where he had just been.

He was being offered to race. According to him, he didn’t. But, I think the Camaro would get the point after a while.

He was always driving 48-53 mph., but makes no mention if he slowed down for the “thickest fog he’s ever seen” appeared.

He hits a patch of black ice and loses control. Now, I’ve hit black ice plenty of times. I’ve slid and spun across the road before and was lucky not to get hit. I admit that I was attempting to go too fast for the road conditions.

When he lost control, the curb hit managed to shatter all the windows and (I am speculating) destroyed his front wheel. His quarter panel tore down a tree (good sized if the dent on the panel says anything) after that. Finally, he hits a telephone pole hard enough to bend the car a good 75-80 degrees.

Neither kid was wearing a seatbelt and the passenger had his seat fully reclined. The lack of seatbelts “saved” their lives. Exactly how did he determine that? The airbag went off when the car hit the pole and blew the kid into the back seat. Now, if the seat was fully reclined, I don’t see how the air bag would have been able to knock the kid back into another seating area.

So, from what my “old guy” view see:

Kids are rushing back to work so they can clock out. They get challenged by a Camaro. They probably were playing back and forth. When they hit the surprise fog, they decided to maintain speed. The kid loses control and does a ton of damage to his car. Not wearing seatbelts somehow saves their lives. I can possibly see that from the passenger side, but it doesn’t add up on the driver side

There has to be more to the story that isn’t being told.

He must have been trying to show off the 50 extra horsepower that muffler gave him. Seriously, good to know he's "okay" even if he is a little worse for the wear.

Ok ....

I tend to give people the benifit ofthe doubt... with that said ... there is no way that car was only doing "approx 45-55mph"

I was Hit a few years back... in the drivers side door I was at a stop and some woman swerved to miss this woman who cut her off .. and when she swerved ... she hit me in the drivers door doing 45mph. If I had to make a guess on that .. He was doing more like 80-95mph and driving like a complete moron to boot!

They have Race tracks where you can take your car to race.. if your going to race ..take it to the strip!
