How do you get holograms in your paint?

What do holograms look like?

What does it take to leave these marks on your car?

How do you remove them?

Sorry for all the question, I would like to know more about holograms, and couldn't find anything.

Here you go. I had to deal with these ovewr the weekend. Probably the wosrt that I have seen.

If I understand your questions, you are talking abotu either swirls marks from washing in beater style car washes, or swirls that are caused by a rotary buffer. Either one you do not want

Holograms are caused by polishing with a rotary, generally "imperfect" polishing where it doesn't leave a perfectly smooth surface. One of the biggest challenges with the rotary is *not* inducing holograms. They are just another form of "marring" (in this case, near-microscopic, circular scratches) and are removed by polishing with an abrasive.

They look like rainbow-colored swirls and are generally only visible in bright sunlight.

I remove them with a PC/Cyclo and a mildly abrasive polish.

Try a different search; holograms have been discussed at great length.

The F150 above appears to be a good (or bad) example of holograms caused by an inexperienced person on a rotary buffer.
