Hobbies other than detailing

I forgot about that... Cameras are my newest(and most expensive hobby)

I have a Nikon D300..which I love. And a few lenses - 28-75mm f2.8, 80-200mm af-s f2.8, 85mm f1.8, 50mm f1.8 & 12-24mm f4

In all the shots of the bball team I'm using the 80-200mm lens (except for the dugout shot) and some are shot with a 1.4x teleconverter.

Yes it's a very expensive hobby, but the bulk of the cost are lenses and they retain the majority of their value...thank God!

Oh yes cooking...I love to cook, but I'm a Chef so it's not considered a hobby.

I have a few other things i enjoy and here are some of them.

My 1997 F-150 Which has won a few awards.

My 2006 Mustang also has won a few awards.

And i also enjoy Fishing and firearms as well.

I love to work out about 5 days a week. Been into building RC cars, planes, and helicopters and have a great time with those. Playing with my dog might not be considered a "hobby," but I enjoy that a lot as well! My dad has a '70 Chevelle SS 396 4-speed and we work on that whenever it needs the attention (rarely anymore because she's a show winner now). Like 97F1504x4, I too am into firearms and fishing. Right now I have an AK-47 and an M-44 Mosin Nagant, hopefully soon I will be acquiring a Colt 1911

Just curious as to what some of you guys and gals enjoy doing other than detailing. Detailing is one of my hobbies (and I know to some of you it's your profession) but there's a few other things I am pretty passionate about as well:

Archery (probably my most expensive hobby!), biking (not as much as I used to), and I have also recently gotten back into jogging and hope to run in a couple of local 5K's this summer.

Of course with the little one, I have to cut back on most of them. He takes up some time, that's for sure.

I thought it would be interesting to see what we all did aside from detailing.

I started with the Rebel XT and moved up to the 30D for my africa trip that was sold before i even got back. Now i have the Mark IIN

lenses i have the 17-40F4 L the 100-400 IS L 50mm 1.8(which will be replaced once sigma get's thier 50mm 1.4 out) and the Sigma 30mm 1.4

Those are both great lenses but the 200 1.8 is in a league of it's own :bow :drool:...it's an incredible lens.

I'd love to get a 300mm 2.8 but a bit out of my budget....for now

I don't have a lot of hobbies. I do have a nice little garden going this year.

Pretty much anything around the house. I'm redoing my hardwood floor now. Putting in a patio soon. Putting up a fence. Lawn care and a bit of landscaping. I do a little PS3 gaming too on cold and rainy days. I used to ride bike and would like to get back into that and get back to the gym.

Photography too. I shoot a Canon 10D (I really want to upgrade maybe to a 40D or 30D) 17-40F4, 150F2.8Macro, 70-200F2.8, 50mmF1.8, 1.4 tele plus a bunch of antique still and video cameras.

Besides detailing cars my hobbies include fishing,fly fishing,fly tying, hunting,trap shooting,target shooting with my handguns/rifles/and shotguns,and reloading my own ammo for all three. All are very expensive hobbies.
