For those that want a little more info, this is HD Zero. This is a heavy cutting compound. This will be mostly marketed to body shops who want to skip the 2000 and 3000 grit sanding and go from 1200 grit to polishing. It also will work great on those trashed cars that could really use color sanding, but for some reason you decide not to.(Customer doesn't want to pay the extra, not enough clear for sanding, etc.)

wow, looks like another break through product for 3D/HD. keep up the great work!! :clap2:

Hi Guys,

Like Barry said I was planning to make this product as a rubbing compound with HD UNO under the skin. But it finishes so good I decided to announce HD UNO 4.0

We reserve the HD ZERO name for later.

This way HD UNO will be the only product that will cut like a Rubbing compound and finish like a finishing cream. All you need is to change the pads.

Our mission is : "Use Less Do More" and "Detailing Made Simple".

From my (non-expert) correction abilities, I would take off more clear sanding followed by polishing than just polishing with Zero. :think2

You may do better with the sanding than myself.

I suppose we should probably clarify that it is dependent upon a lot of factors what method will be more or less aggressive -- if the paint is soft to average hardness and we're just dealing with light defects, sanding with 3000 or 4000 grit paper will leave behind scratches that even a mild or medium polish can take out, netting a pretty non-invasive result. If we're talking about 1500 grit scratches on hard clear then yeah, I can see compounding without sanding being a less aggressive approach.

What do I get for guessing right? Can I have Thomas's bottle because he doesn't know what he's talking about? :bolt:

Just kidding, sounds like another great product! :rockon1:

You sure can. I am as confused as you are. :D Zero, V3, V4, what is going on?

WOW! That looks like it will work well. I get so confused with how many products there are available and how you choose one or the other!

So does that mean I can swing by 3D HQ in Santa Clarita next week and pick some up?

Hi Erik,

I am in Miami but will be back in LA this Tuesday. We are running a new batch and if you swing by 3D Factory in Santa Clarita I will make sure you get the new batch. Here is the catch....You will get me paged and will watch the demo performed by our technicians. You can try it yourself too.

Well it is not that bad. In other words try n buy. I am sure you will witness that the new HD Uno is the best cut polish and finishing product in the world.

Well this is exactly our mission. "Detailing Made Simple". We will show at the SEMA show that you can detail a car with less than hand full of products and get great results.

Especially HD Uno 4.0 is a true one step product that will give the user the best finish they can ever have even if they color sanded the vehicle with 1200 grid paper.

That sounds good, I have a half bottle of V3 left and a waiting list for details so this new V4 comes along at the perfect time. My one and only complaint about v3 was that it could stand to have a little more cut. I cant wait to try v4, should be like the 3 Bears Story - not to hot, not to cool, but just right!!

Yep, the fourth time's the charm, after all....

...oh wait. That's, uh.... nevermind. :rofl
