Barry Theal said:Mike extreamly Friendly. Those results I posted are with a DA microfiber pad and the Dynabrade attachment on a new dewalt at 3500 hundred rpms :chuckle: One bad *** movement.
Ben@Autopia said:For those that want a little more info, this is HD Zero. This is a heavy cutting compound. This will be mostly marketed to body shops who want to skip the 2000 and 3000 grit sanding and go from 1200 grit to polishing. It also will work great on those trashed cars that could really use color sanding, but for some reason you decide not to.(Customer doesn't want to pay the extra, not enough clear for sanding, etc.)
Ben@Autopia said:From my (non-expert) correction abilities, I would take off more clear sanding followed by polishing than just polishing with Zero. :think2
You may do better with the sanding than myself.
Leadfootluke said:HD UNO 4.0? 10.0? Whatever they are up to now![]()
tdekany said:Wrong guess
tunch123 said:Hi Guys,
Like Barry said I was planning to make this product as a rubbing compound with HD UNO under the skin. But it finishes so good I decided to announce HD UNO 4.0
We reserve the HD ZERO name for later.
This way HD UNO will be the only product that will cut like a Rubbing compound and finish like a finishing cream. All you need is to change the pads.
Our mission is : "Use Less Do More" and "Detailing Made Simple".
Leadfootluke said:What do I get for guessing right? Can I have Thomas's bottle because he doesn't know what he's talking about? :bolt:
Just kidding, sounds like another great product! :rockon1:
JuneBug said:When will it be available?
tunch123 said:Hi JuneBug,
It will be ready Next week. All the new batches will be 4.0 starting next week.

Erik Mejia said:So does that mean I can swing by 3D HQ in Santa Clarita next week and pick some up?
Fresh Look said:When is the HD UNO 4.0 going to be available online? How can I be sure that I am getting the new stuff?
Erik Mejia said:Like the 3.0 version, it will likely have the "4.0" designation on the label... guess we will just have to see.
thedetailer said:WOW! That looks like it will work well. I get so confused with how many products there are available and how you choose one or the other!
JuneBug said:That sounds good, I have a half bottle of V3 left and a waiting list for details so this new V4 comes along at the perfect time. My one and only complaint about v3 was that it could stand to have a little more cut. I cant wait to try v4, should be like the 3 Bears Story - not to hot, not to cool, but just right!!
