Is it that time of year? Apparently so.........My worst nightmare comes to fruition....

Here in NC it's starting - sinuses are pounding! In a few weeks we'll have "yellow haze" - not to be confused with purple haze!

Ah, so that's what that is. I was wondering why the next day I washed my car it looked so dusty, despite it not being that windy in my area. It doesn't help either that my car is black.

I haven't seen any pollen accumulations yet but my allergies are telling me that it's coming. And SOON!

I hate pollen...sniff...sniff...ACHOOOOO!

Patrick since you posted this, I am answering you regarding the allergies.

One of the best things you can use is Claratin as you probably know. It contains 10mg of a product called "Loratadine" as it's only active ingredient. However this stuff (Claritin) is rather expensive.

About a year or so ago, there patent ran out so now you can purchase it as a generic drug.

SAM's and COSTCO both carry the generic versions at a price of about $14.00 give or take a couple of bucks for about 300 +/- tablets!!

That many Claratin tablets would cost you a small fortune for the "exact" same amount of the same medication!:D

I sure hope this helps you and everyone, allergies suck big time !!

If you can't get it locally, PM me.

Change, I use Flonase via a Dr's prescriptions. Its the only thing that works for me. Claritin was a joke. Its even lost its affect on my son.......

Sorry Patrick, I tried. Maybe the information about Claratin/Loratadine will help those that don't have such sever allergies. Good luck, I hope you get better.

Loratadine has also stopped working on my allergies, but I started taking the stuff 6 to 8 years ago..

Now it's the hardcore nasal sprays that do the trick..

Change, Im good my friend! I dont really have issues with it at the moment, but my time will come soon enough! I just use the Flonase when I feel something coming, and it wipes it out in a day or two, max.

BLK, is right, i guess I didnt see someones response? But pollen are like little course beads. Your better off avoiding QD'ing and live with it until you can wash........I wouldnt even NRWS it. Pollen deserves a traditional wash, or minimum pretreat with NRWS and a bucket!!
