Agree. It will last forever. I some people that only put gas in it and go, and wonder why it breaks down....

Wow, it's time for an update.

Just barely checking back in and saw that this thread got bumped in February so I apologize for not responding to your questions earlier!

The mileage I started this thread with is way outdated. I'm at 282,800 now . This car will see 300k easily by the end of 2007.

Any rust forming anywhere in the body? Just curious.

None whatsoever. The car is originally from CA, and I live in AZ. The body's as straight and dry as can be. I recently installed new pre-painted bodyside moldings to get rid of a couple of unsightly small dings. Those were expensive!!

Indeed, I'm super particular about maintenance. This car has had over $16k in maintenance performed over its entire lifespan. I have an Excel spreadsheet tracking it all.

This is definitely the cleanest high milage car that I've ever seen. Tyson has been up my way a few times for the OCDetails fall show and he literally cleans house. A couple years ago I think he got swept a couple categories single handed. It is an amazing car. That engine just blows me away. I need to find the ones I took at the '05 show. I thought I was good at keeping an engine looking good until I saw his. :bow :bow
