Locally I prefer the 'blue' low tac maskign tape. The Meguiar's tape is also very nice, although not quite as durable, IME.

Currently I live west of Danville, but grew up and work in Indianapolis. Thanks for the opinion on tape guys. I thik if Sun is still up this after noon Im going to take a pic of the swirling and see if you'all think I should start with a compound or go straight to polish.

Hey, welcome to TID first of all. But more than that, it's great to see a local Hendricks Co. resident on here! I'm in Brownsburg. I just ordered (& received) some of the Meguiar's tape. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Normally though, I just use the 3M blue painters tape.

Welcome to TID! I use Sherwin-Williams painters tape. It is durable and inexpensive. (But it's not blue!:devil
