1. How did you wind up at Autopia? Just got lucky. A great site!
2. What do you like most about detailing? Getting a rotten finish look ilke new.
3. What are your favorite products/processes and why? McGuires
4. What's your dream car and why? Ferrari Lusso. The lines are timeless.
5. What's the best thing you learned on Autopia? I didn't know there were as many detail nut. Nice to be in good company.
6. What are some of your other hobbies and interests? Skiing, restoring cars,running a car web site.
7. Do you have any pets? If so, types, names, pics.
8. Name three secret techniques that you think you should share to fellow Autopians. By the best tools your money can buy. It really makes a difference. For tools that you rarely use try Harbor Freight. The tools are ok, the price is greatr!
9. Where are you from and where do you live now? Born and raised in CA.
10. What was you first car and what got you interested in keeping cars perfect? In 1970 I bought an Austin Healey. Still have it. I have always taken good care of my things. That translated into detailing my cars.
11. What motivates you to detail? The work when finished is immediately obvious. I just walk around my cars amazed that these new products work so well.
12. Would you ever pay someone else to detail your car? No.
13. Does detailing run in the family at all, or are you the only normal one? No. The family thinks I'm crazy.
14. What is your favorite part about detailing? Turning a dull swirled finish to look as new.
15. If detailing is a hobby for you, would you like to do it full time, or do you feel that it would take the fun out of it? I would like to keep it a hobby.
This is a great site and a great help to enthusiasts of all levels. I will learn a lot here. Thanks for making this site available.
