Would just like to introduce myself. I hope to learn from you people. I own a 2000 Ford Explorer (White) and I want to keep it looking good for as long as I own it. Living here in Utah can be really bad on a car, I would like to protect it as much as possible. I've been looking at a few products and I've narrowed it down to 2, Mequiars and Klasse. So I will have a few questions.

Welcome! You will love it here. This is by far the best site I have ever been too. Not just the site but the people make it great here. Everyone acts as adults for the most part and there is tons of information shared.
 
You're in Utah? Be sure to check out the other Utah folks here. They've even had a get-together. (I think the thread is in Hot Tub, which would enable you to find your neighbors.)



Have you looked at the Autopia Guide to Detailing? And be sure to read thru David's articles (at the "Learn" icon at the top of the page) and the Autopia Univ forum to get lots of basic issues addressed. And then feel free to let us know specifically how we can help you.

So are you saying someone else in Utah will detail my car for me, just kidding. Nice to know someone else in Utah is into detailing cars. Yes, I have read the guide, and some of Dave's articles.
