hey im will from RVA, i have an 05 stage 2 legacy gt...heard about the forum from OC Details
ive been detailing cars for a while, learned a lot over the years
my tools
Craftsman 2550psi capable pressure washer (always use the delicate nozzzle)
Porter Cable from adams detailing
big ol' shop vac
i have a lot of different pads, towels etc, but all are microfiber other than my chamois
i use all sorts of different products, just like to see how each works...the ones ive really settled on lately are:
meguires nxt car wash
zymol wax (hard to find around my area, will use meguires gold class if i have no more zymol)
adams haze and swirl remover
adams polish revive
meguires quick detail, leather treatment and interior detail
mequires clay bar
mothers chrome and aluminum polish
and theres a few other goodies here and there
i make pretty good cash on the side detailing, i usually charge 150 for a complete detail for neighbors and referrals, 30 for good friends
not too bad of money for a college student; the power washer and porter cable have payed for themselves over twice
