Under close inspection it appears Selma has swirl marks along her lower left rib cage. Have buffer will travel.

There are so many ways this thread can go. Knowing us, it's going down hill real fast!
Here I was ready to read about your impressions of this new machine.

BenP said:Anthony,
Does the new Metabo have variable speed control on the trigger, or is the speed set on a seperate dial and then the trigger acts like a switch?
This is the one feature that determines whether I go for the 12-175 or the Makita.
Thanks,
Ben.

I need to detail this weekend but because of you Anthony I will be renting videos this weekend. :grinno: Maybe I can figure out a way to watch videos in the garage and detail at the same time. I would probably waste alot of product. Wes
Anthony Orosco said:The latest flick with Selma and that James Bond dude.....Pierce Brosnan, who by the way gets my wife hot and bothered, is cool cause it has Pierce for the gals (or guys depending on what turns your crank:nono ) but it also has Selma in a bikini:woot: Now I am happily married but not blind to true beauty![]()

I'm kind of a tool nut and am partial to German Engineering. I like Metabo and Bosch a lot. Too bad Bosch don't make a detailing polisher. It would probably be somewhere between the price range of a Dewault and a Metabo.
But to answer your question. If I could do it all again. I would buy the metabo All over again. Maybe a Hitachi because that thing is so dang cheap, but I'd buy that for my helper to use. :chuckle:
I could see myself trying out the 2-mode Rotary/DA Makita in the not too distant future.
But they don't sell it in the US.3Dog said:Bosch does make a rotary:

The Porter-Cable 7428 is made by Flex, PC's German subsidiary (and costs about the same as a Makita or Dewalt).gtbaka said:...I'm kind of a tool nut and am partial to German Engineering...
