Hey Guy's, new from NC

Hey guys, just thought I'd just give a quick intro. I've currently got a black Volt with polished wheels that I try and keep really nice. About this time in 2014 I plan to replace the Volt with a C7 Corvette. I've been hearing about C-Quartz Finest, and Opti-coat, as well as other products I'm not familiar with, (Blackfire, Griot's, etc) so I figured I better join here and learn all I can. I'm hoping I can experiment on the black Volt and find what works best, before the Vette arrives, that way I can treat her right the first time!
 
Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'm from Greenville, NC. Yeah I got the Volt because I love technology and when I read about it, saw it, then drove it, I knew I had to have it. I decided to lease it for three years vs. purchase, since the technology was so new. I figured I could just walk away from it if it sucked. That said, it has been an awesome car. I get 26 miles per dollar with it on electric and 40 mpg on gas, so no complaints.
I have always liked the look of Corvettes but never really considered one, since it didn't really seem to be a practical vehicle for a married with children guy. Well the kids are grown and I can now financially afford it, and a two seater seems appropriate now. My wife still has her Equinox, so the Corvette now "fits". Plus the C7 is just gorgeous as heck and 460 HP with 460 TQ is just too good to pass up. The Volt lease is up the end of 2014, so I'll buy the Corvette and life will be good. :D

Heh Heh, it's funny you say that, as my Volt is black. No I plan for the Vette to be Blade Silver with Carbon Flash full stripes. I built the one below online and it is like what I want to order.The rims will be painted silver, until I sent them out to California Chrome to be black chromed. The wheels below are photo-shopped to try and simulate black chrome.
