You still have the box?!?
I throw everything away (including instructions) as soon as I get a new tool
i have a PC7424 (pre-xp) from about 2002 in its original box. It's a good wax/sealant applicator with a 4" pad.

That question just made me go look at the box of my GG6 to read the warranty card but I don't have one in the box. Must have pitched it. Generally the warranty that came with the tool will govern that tool.
I think you will see more long throw polishers on the market for less money since Griot's chose to price it closer to Rupes (why leave money on the table).
They don't come with a warranty card. Little unusual as most electrical tools have a written warranty in the box.

If Groits priced it say for argument sakes a hundred bucks less, bam I know I would then look at one.
plenty of cheaper large throw tools out there to choose from. Imo the griot's tool is of higher quality than all the other large throw da's currently available, so i'm surprised by how many have issue with the price of it when they are okay with the price of rupes tools. I've always said i have no problem paying good money for a quality built tool...
made in china ~ no more lifetime warranty = deal killer
:swirly: :swirly: :swirly: :swirly: :swirly: :swirly:
But you'll pay more for an Italian made tool with half the warranty?
I think once people who've actually purchased or used the tool start sharing their feedback all the ignorant comments will stop.
but I'd be torn between this new Griot's and buying a Rupes from Kevin.

While KB is the man, that's a ridiculous statement. That should be an easy decision. What has Griots done for you lately? What has KB done for you lately? There is your answer.![]()
