Here is how I fit all my detailing stuff in my trunk

Pretty tight fit, eh? :p

Can ya list some of the stuff that you carry?

I'm starting up my detailing after the 1st of the year and want to eliminate some of the stuff I carry since part of my bed is now taken up by something else.

I'm actually being forced to start detailing again... Going fast costs money :p

I've got my vacuum with assorted crevice tools and brushes, Black and Decker Scum Buster, two buckets, 12 oz squirt bottles of Meguiars DACP, SFP and HP, Poorboy's PwC and EX, Clearkote's VM, CMW, MW and Blue Moose (a strong compound that isn't out yet), A full strength bottle of Greased Lightning's Orange Blast and one cut 4:1 for floor mats, a 16 oz bottle of QEW, a spray bottle with 6:1 mix of Woolite and water, plus a bottle of Woolite, Eagle 20/20 glass cleaner, a Meguiars Body Shop Pro clay bar cut 50/50 with a Clay Magic Blue Bar (the Meg's BSP bar is hella sticky) for paint overspray, a Clearkote clay bar for lighter duty claying, California Duster, about 100 assorted terry cloth towels and about 85 microfiber towels and a 5 gallon water jug.

...and Armor All ;)

How do you like Orange Blast? Outside of using it for the floor mats, what else do you use it for and what dillutions do you use? I'm curious, since I bought a bottle for $3.50 and plan on doing some degreasing and cleaning of lawn care equipment with it.

Thanks :up

Thanks Scottwax.

Tomorrow I start getting my stuff organized. I haven't detailed a customer's vehicle in about 6 months so I got to see what I have and restock. Already got some past customers wanting work done.

Spilchy- :doh Yes, Armor All.

I really like Orange Blast. Full strength is great for engines and white walls (unfortunately, I have a customer who has white wall tires). I cut it 4:1 for floor mats and carpeting. So far, that's about all I've used it for.

Thanks. I use EFHI for my All Purpose and it's pricey to keep replacing the gallon size even though I cut it to various dillutions. I really love the stuff, but would like to find something chaper and reasonable.

I'm looking forward to giving it a shot.

Hey, that looks like my trunk, only more organized. :) I was sooooo happy to finally get a garage so I could stop driving around with every detailing product I owned in the trunk. Since I've had the garage I have probably trippled my supplys because I'm not limited to my space as much as I was before. I still box it up when I go on site to detail. Every Saturday I go to a tuning shop to detail some cars and I have to load it all back up again. I'm glad I can just take what I need instead of everything I've got. Its hard to work that way.

I keep a ton of towels in my trunk so nothing really can move around.

...speaking of which, I have towels to wash tonight!

Hey Scott!

Where's the PC or rotary? :D Oh wait, it's built in. I'm still amazed you can do the quality of work you do by hand. :bow

I just got done washing my towels too. Nice set up and organization with your supplies. I try so hard to keep my jeep organized, but never have the time.:(

Nice :) When I go mobile, I take my beater (95 tracer station wagon), I have a full size shop vac, so having the extra room of the wagon is nice :)
