Help with Spring Cleaning/Correction

Spring is in the air and I've noticed the swirls from my first winter where it actually snows. I've washed a couple of times but now it's time for the big push to get the autos back in shape. I'd appreciate tips and hints to help me along the way.

BIG QUESTION: Haven't tried correcting the Acura and don't think I did much good on my first attempt on the Mini - are they hard or soft paints? I know you are supposed to start with the least aggresive combo of pad and polish and see if it shifts it but can someone give me an idea if Swirl with white pad will do much or should I start with the orange?

The Cars -

Nimbus Gray 2007 Acura MDX (mild swirling)

British Racing Green 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible (moderate swirling)

The Exterior Products -

Porter Cable DA with orange, white, and black LC pads

Prima Swirl, Finish, and Cut polishes (got a bundle when I first started)

Prima Amigo

Prima Mystique

P21S total auto wash

ONR (on the way)

Prima Wheel Armour

Black Wow

Prima Epic and Banana Gloss

Meg's Clay - white and blue

The Plan:

P21S Total Auto Wash wash

Clay

Polish (see big question above and I've only really attempted once before to give you background)

Amigo

Epic

Wheel shield

and so on into routine maintenance...

TIA,

Tony
