Help with Spots on Suzuki Vitara

I just finished cleaning a 99 Grand Vitara that was a Repo (don't know if I'll ever tackle that again!) It probably was never waxed and hadn't seen a wash in a while. The interior was so bad, I almost gagged...food, trash, cig burns...it was awful.

1. Hand Washed + engine cleaned

2. Mother's clay (probably cannot use that bar again)

3. Pinnacle Cleansing lotion

4. Pinnacle Liquid Souveran

5. NXT

I have some spots that appear to be permanent. Looks like a bird dropped a bomb and it ate through the clear coat.

I don't have a PC and am wondering is there any solution to removing these spots.

Thanks fellow Autopians.

Honestly, before wetsanding, I always try to hit the spot with a terry towel with menz powergloss compound first, it usually takes care of really bad etches... then i'll wetsand if it didn't work.

but wetsanding with 2000-2500 lightly shouldn't hurt that much if you do it correctly.

Before compounding try a chemical cleaner such as Meg's MPPC or One Grand's Special touch. I have read that special touch works very well at removing bird poo marks.
