Help with soft paint/clear...

If im finishing, depending on how the paint is reacting i will run it between 2" per sec all the way up to 5"-7" per sec. Just depends on the paint and how its reacting to what im doing.
 
The times I've experienced really soft paint and needing correction for swirls I have finished with OP, black LC pad and speed of about 900 - 1000. I work it lightly and slowly. I also like to work with PO106FF/RMG and the same technique - light and slow - and that usually gives pretty good results. Remember that if it was soft enough to introduce minor marring it needs to be massaged back to pristine with a little TLC.
