Help with slight scratch marks on BMW OEM wheels

OK so I made a very bad mistake without even thinking. On my OEM silver e90 wheels there was some very difficult to remove black spots. Maybe from brakes but not sure. Nothing I did would get it off and I consider myself knowledgeable when it comes to detailing but maybe not after this. Drag out a SOS pad and amazingly takes off the black spots. I do all my wheels. Come to find out I have slight scratches on all my wheels.

In the picture its not the darker marks you see but the very faint marks you can see kind of in the corners. I have yet to try to remove them at this point but wanted some suggestions first.

SOS pad!?!? I would have tried a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I think you will need a refinish, a wet sand or an aggressive polish. Next time around do a quick search. On the upside stock E90 wheels are cheap.

I just used ScratchX 2.0 on my clearcoated wheels since I pretty much did the same thing as you. Came out great. All the little scratches are gone and only a couple of the deeper ones remain. I used a small amount with a non abrasive foam pad and worked it in with a little bit of pressure. I'm not a pro though and I don't know how much clear coat is left but it looks miles better than it did before.
