Help with getting out parking lot scratch

Hoping you guys can help. I have a scratch that I'm afraid will need to be touched up with paint but I'll see what y'all can help me avoid that.

A big black truck opened their driver door into my passenger door and left a large scratch. I'm afraid that it is down to the primer because it appears to show yellow underneath the green paint. I haven't done a correction on the paint since it happened but at the time I tried some clay to see if the yellow might be some sort of transfer.

I'll try to post a pic or two later but are there any suggestions. Guess the basic question is should I try aggressive spot polishing on it (trying least aggressive going up) or do you guys think that would interfere with touch up later if it won't do any good.

TIA

It's likely just paint transfer, as I see it all the time. Try a little bit of acetone on a MF towel and rub it gently. I'm 90% sure that it'll wip right off. Follow up with a good wax on the spot where you removed the paint transfer and you should be good to go.

EDIT: I just realized you said it was a black truck that caused this, in which case there would be no yellow transfer.. However, if you didn't actually witness this happening, it might not have actually been the truck, but rather somebody else did it and took off once they realized what happened.

Good luck!
