Help with Corvette Finish

I have a torch red 04 corvette. See pic, anyway while it was at the body shop getting the hood painted they got clear coat overspray on some of the upper panels. The rear deck and fenders are the worse. I don't want to take it back there so I have used Claymagic Blue clay 3 times and buffed with my PC "yellow pad and 3M Finese It and it ain't happening. Under strong light you can see tiny overspray spots and a little cloudyness also.

What to do?

umm.. wow, its hard to gain my thoughts after seeing your car but what i would do is wetsand the extra clear off, then buff to a perfect finish as you have done already;) good luck. any more pics of that beast?? mods??

In this situation I found that the overspray has to be buffed off with a compund and rotary, clay wont touch it and the pc will have a really hard time at this. Its takes a bit of practice and would advise you maybe asking one of the professionals in your area to take a look at it. Im sure there is someone here who could help you.

Call Rick or Karl at Expert Collision Repair (281-550-4000) and tell 'em I sent you (Sapphine Blue Honda Coupe). They do good work and are the only paint and body guys I have used. They are the only body shop the Houston Area Lightning Area's top show truck uses, too.

Expert Collision Repair is located at 5015 Addicks Satsuma, just east of Hwy 6 behind Northwest Glass & Mirror.

Thanks I'll do that, it will have to wait a week or so since my car will be suck in the Corvette/Chevy Expo this weekend.
