If your finish is in need of some good polishing (lots of swirls, some faded or oxidized paint) you may want to start with Meg's DACP. This is a cleaner AND polish in one liquid. This is also one of the products used quite often with great results that you can then agument by using a glaze such as 3M PIII-MG.
Mostly it's done by a PC (Porter-Cable) polisher and a yellow cutting pad or white polish pad depending on the condition of the finish. It can be used by hand, but you are going to have arms like AHHHRNOLD later! If you want really stunnin g results, invest in a PC. Not much money and you'll love how well it works without damage to a finish that can happen with a rotary in inexperienced hands.

Get your finish as glossy as possible! Remember, wax,Zaino or other sealants are just "protecting" your finish and the wet look really comes from the polish and the effort into it. After you polished, wash the car with Dawn to remove any remaining oils (all polishes have some type of oil) or use a water/alcohol mix, then I wash once more right after with Zaino Z7. Then, mix up a batch of ZFX/Z5 and apply three coats. Spray Z6 B4 and after each coat very lightly to increase shine. COntinue next day with a new batch until you're happy with it and most if not all swirls are gone. Then put the Z2 on top of the Z5, same thing, I use ZFX/Z2 up to three coats spraying between and after each coat.
If you experience a slight streaking when removing Z5 after it cured, spray a very light amount of Z7/water mix and wipe again. You can tell it's cured if you wipe a finger over and it's glossy. If not, not cured yet. Humidity will effect it and it does take longer, so be patient.
