Help! Ruined towels?

I have recently discovered Autopia and have learned quite a bit in a short time. I just purchased my first "batch" of Vroom microfibers from Target. However today while I was gone, my Mom dried them because I hadn't yet removed them from the washer. Our dryer has an "auto-temp mode" where it senses how much heat is needed and for how long (this is the setting my Mom used). I was wondering if my towels are ruined or if there is a way for me to find out?

If they are microfiber stick them on the carpet and if they stick well than they are okay. If not than it might be a little bad.

LOL...relax! Unless she melted them, they are fine. Just feel them for hard spots, or look for shiny spots. If it's an electric dryer, I really doubt you can get enough heat to melt them (not even sure you can do it with a properly functioning gas dryer...after all, there are plenty of synthetic fiber clothes made out of the same stuff as MF).

Thanks guys! I feel much better now after having performed the carpet stick test. I guess I won't have to kill her afterall. ;)

BTW love the username Setec... Sneakers is one of my favorite movies.

Well, Im not sure what sticking to carpet has to do with anything, but just inspect closely for "burn balls" Little areas that may have contacted the dryer heat shield...
