I've seen a couple of threads on removing dried wax, but they seem geared toward bumpers and edges, etc.
i just bought a used 535i, and the dealership did a pretty decent job with polish/wax in getting it ready for sale. But, the hood was covered in rock chips, and many of them are now filled with dried wax. So my jet black hood it covered in white spots.
What is a safe way to "dig" that dried wax out without doing further damage to the paint?
