Help- Reload Streaks

Second time using reload and....

I definietly used too much last night. (i used it as a drying aid after Wolfs Mean Green rinseless)
noticed some streaks when i got out of the car this morning at work, a few of them buffed out easily but I ran out of time before I had to go in

theres not many streaks and they are hard to see but I'm sure there are probably more if I saw a couple initially without a detailed inspection

so its been baking in the sun all day :( (on my metallic black paint-ouch)

under the reload is PBL (v1)- two coats (applied about a month ago)

I'm going to try to wipe it down with ONR QD and see if that fixes it but if not....

Can I use Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion (i have it)

or should I use Black Label surface cleansing polish ( i have it)

or just make an IPA solution? (and what % if so)

I dont want to damage the PBL if I can avoid it

Better than screwing with it, like I did. Believe me

yea i kind of agree. i figure i definitely dont want to have to rub the paint vigorously or anything with a towel. no matter how soft it is.

Now i'm afraid to even use reload on black paint. I obviously have an over-application problem

with the car sitting in the garage most days this relaod could \take months to wear off... man what a rookie reload mistake!
I cant believe I did this.

Good luck

You may just want to let it wear off naturally

hmm, whats got you turned off from carpro products? i tried hydro2 a month ago and i was very impressed and been looking forward to trying more carpro products but youve got me intrigued.

Use reload again. Just mist a little over the area. The solvents will do a lot and remove streaking.
You can do it, because it already baked in de sun and is dry. Don't try this when it's streakin when just applied as you'd only be applying more.

yea i had read about reload issues but of course thought that would not happen to me.. yea right..reload dont care!

i have nothing against the procuts, for the record.....im simply trying to see if anyone has a solution for this problem

i got some of them off with ONR QD over lunch but they've been baking all day so I am concerned now...if i would have known it was streaked i would have not driven it to work today

thanks i will try this first....i will need to let the paint cool down over night probably

I've worked with Reload v2015, and what works for me is just a quick wash and rinse with a regular car wash soap. Reload is not something that likes to flash 100% off of the paint, you can see during removal with the microfiber and a light source there's still that faint amount left behind. When I do a quick wash and rinse with soap, after checking with a light the residuals are gone. Let me know if that works in your situation.

Edit: Just saw your post Ronkh, I'll have to get the Reload out and do some more testing with it.

Didn't work for me, as well as reset 4x the recommended amount, nor straight apc

Don't remember if I tried the additional reload, but think I did

Well Ron I'm hoping I have better luck but something tells me I wont if you didn't.
