HELP..Klasse removal PLUS searching for dedtailer REEDSBURY WI please

roadster

New member
I have a very good female friend off of the Buick Reatta Forum who has a special model Reatta convertible that has white paint. From what she is telling me, she has over applied probably the Klasse SG. There was an internet article from the owner of Klasse that I have read that gave some good hints to remove Klasse that has been over applied. Can someone please give reference to the where a bouts of that article OR explain to her with a reply to this post how to sucessfully and easily remove Klasse that has been applied to thick please.

Also, she has some swirls in the paint and needs a DETAILER knowledgable in the REEDSBURG WI, 523959 to help her with that (:waxing: )....Please respond to this post and I will get her to register and contact you through a PM...

Thanks,

Nic

I think you mean this article :

Interview with Klasse USA

The answer to your problem is to use some QD. I have done it (QD made of ONR) and it works very well. Another option is to make a dilution of KSG (1 part of KSG and 4 parts of demineralized water).

Cheers.

That has worked for me as well (the ONR QD).

As others have said - any QD (quick detailer) will do the trick.

A quick detailer is a spray on liquid product which is designed to quickly clean light dirt/dust off of a well maintained vehicle.

Some examples of quick detailers which are available over the counter (AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc.) are:

Mother's California Gold Showtime

Meguiar's NXT Generation Speed Detailer

Meguiar's #34 Final Inspection

Duragloss Fast Clean and Shine

Eagle One Wet Wipe and Shine

Any of these will do the trick. Just spray on the problem area and wipe off with a soft micro-fiber cloth - should remove the SG buildup with no problem.

I am in Green Bay. I get down to Madison about once summer. I'm not a pro but would be willing to help what I can. I might be able to help with the swirls later this summer. Good luck and welcome to Autopia!

Thank you Nic for sending me in the right direction. And thanks to everybody for your help! I did use the QD and then 2 coats of AIO. The SG will have to wait another day. I did notice that the swirl marks look better.

Big Jim ..your Z-28 takes me back a day or two. My first car was a 1977 Z-28 with T-Tops and a L88 hood scoop. I had some fun!
